This piece was inspired by one of my favorite comic book film performances, Michelle Pfieffer as Catwoman!

APE 2013!

It's been a while since my last post, but that’s cause I've been working on an exciting announcement: This month I'm going to be exhibiting at the Alternative Press Expo (APE) in San Francisco! Polka Dots

Another new piece in the "Good Girls" series! These have been a great way to mess with style and technique and I'm looking forward to applying some of that moving forward. More soon! -B

Working with Monsers 2013: Part 1

In 2011, I posted one of my final projects from my time at the Academy of Art called "Our Work With Monsters." I thought it might be fun to revisit the project now after learning a whole bunch post school, so here is the first sample of work from my new project. I've been playing around with style and technique, all with the goal of improving on the original. The new paintings and designs are still full of things to fix and redo, but it's been great trying to breathe new life into the old project. More to come..

The Soldier

Finally finished the last piece in my first series of Egyptian prints. This set was a pretty fun exercise working with a variety of shapes and colors. I'm looking forward to working with these characters a bit more in the future, but I think I'll go a bit moodier with my next series.. more soon! -B

The Princess

Continuing the series, next up is The Princess with her animal friends. Just hoping that cat doesn't get any ideas ;).... more on the way!
